Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Assistant to join our team in Daventry, Northamptonshire. This role involves supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring smooth workflows, maintaining high accuracy, and upholding safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods in the appropriate locations.
Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to health and safety regulations.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues with stock or deliveries promptly.
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items in compliance with health and safety standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours as required.
Forklift certification (preferred but not essential).
